Frequently asked questions
Why do searches sometimes take a long time?
Why don't I see results from certain feeds?
Why can't I add some feeds?

  • Why do searches sometimes take a long time?
When a Scoop contains many different feeds, sometimes a search takes relatively long. Usually, this is because one of the feeds itself is slow, or the site to which a feed belongs is down.

  • Why don't I see results from certain feeds?
When a feed is found to be unavailable or slow, it is automatically set to 'unavailable'. In that case, ScoopGO! will no longer search through this feed. This can happen when the site which publishes the feed is down. We check regularly to see if a feed that is unavailabe gets to be available again.

  • Why can't I add some feeds?
Feeds have to be valid to be added. Please check your feed at feedvalidator.org to see if it's valid
